The Course Delivery
GICE student community comes from a variety of demographic and professional backgrounds. However, all students share common attribute- the motivation to succeed, their ability to provide meaningful contribution in the classroom and the desire to become global professionals.
The PGPFE is divided into six trimesters, each about 12 weeks long, and each year consists of three terms. The first year comprises only of core courses, and the second year houses a balance of core courses, electives and specialization. The core courses taught at GICE form an essential part of our program of study, after which the PGPFE students are required to undergo an internship program.
The second year provides the students over six majors and also elective courses to choose from, which means that, our students will have no dearth of opportunities to adapt their studies according to their individual interests. These elective courses integrate the latest trends, practices in business and management. A number of these electives will be taught by working professionals who can bring valuable practical inputs from their respective fields into enriching the classroom experience further.
The term between fifth and sixth trimester will be engaged with the value added courses of students’ choice. The section themes are as follows
